5 Tips for Nailing Your Beach Wedding Photos

Be Transparent
Communicate with your photographer ahead of time about what you’re hoping to capture on your wedding day. Do you know your man will cry the first time he sees you? Then, make sure your photographer is all over it. Have a special dance you want to share with your bestie? Then, tell your photographer to take those shots. We also suggest doing a little research ahead of time to get some fun ideas on poses, unique angles, etc. Your photographer should also have some fabulous ideas, so be sure to ask!
 
Find the Best Time

Sunset is another fabulous time to shoot because many beach-goers have gone in for the day, leaving tons of space and privacy for those gorgeous silhouette pictures. This is super important and can be forgotten if not planned out ahead of time! Be sure you write down your photo “musts” and give it to your photographer to ensure all the important pictures are taken on your wedding day. Note the photos you definitely need, like photos of the bride and her siblings and the groom with his parents, college buddies, etc. You also might want to discuss a timeline with your photographer, so people are flowing in and out of photos with ease.
 
Trash the Dress!
