This is the ONE thing that happens at ALL of our weddings⬇️

About this video

The first thing guests care about as soon as the ceremony is over is WHERE they’re sitting and WHO they’re seated with.

Although you should do what’s best for you, it’s important to keep in mind how each guest will feel when they get their seating assignment.

Here are 5 important things to consider:

1. Think about which people will have the most in common and the most to talk about. Seat people of similar ages near each other.

2. Seat your parents and grandparents close to the dance floor so they have a clear view of your specialty dances and speeches.

3. If someone is attending who doesn’t know anyone else, seat them next to a guest you know will be talkative and include them.

4. Discuss with parents whether they’d prefer to have their children seated next to them or are okay having a kids table.

5. The MOST important thing... make sure you double check how many people can fit at each table depending on the table size, chair dimensions, and layout.
