Kyana & Logan chose a destination wedding because their loved ones were already spread across the United States. Since guests would need to travel no matter what, they decided to make it a true vacation at an all-inclusive resort. Planning a wedding “back home” from out of state felt like unnecessary stress, and this option made the most sense for them.
When it came to choosing the resort, they said resort selection was the hardest part. They looked closely at amenities, airport distance (so guests wouldn’t have a long transfer after traveling), and whether they should go kid-friendly or adults-only. Wedding packages and group rates were also a major deciding factor.
They had a few guest concerns like passport worries, fear of flying, and even misconceptions about Mexico, but they stayed grounded in what made sense for their relationship and future. And despite thinking they might only have 30–40 guests attend, they ended up with around 80 guests, which surprised them in the best way.
