Inbal chose a destination wedding because it had always been her dream to celebrate in Mexico with friends and family, and she said it was the best decision ever. They were also really intentional about picking their wedding date, choosing November to avoid spring break crowds and peak hurricane season, and even selecting a Monday so guests could travel over the weekend.
When it came to planning, Inbal shared that working with the resort wedding coordinator was surprisingly easy. They communicated through emails and WhatsApp, and while responses started a little slow, communication became much quicker in the three months leading up to the wedding. She sent inspiration photos, and the resort delivered everything they envisioned.
Their wedding weekend was packed with fun details like a Mexican-style welcome party with a live mariachi band, a traditional cocktail hour with boozy popsicles, a family-style reception dinner, and even extras like an LED light-up dance floor, a churro cart, and La Hora Loca to keep the party going. Guests raved that it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to.
