Adilene & Vince chose a destination wedding because they had always dreamed of getting married by the ocean. Growing up in different tropical countries, they both had strong memories of life near the water so exchanging vows with the ocean as their backdrop felt like the perfect fit. They also compared the overall value of a destination wedding to a wedding in the U.S., and felt it offered a higher-quality experience for the cost.
When it came to picking a resort, they kept it simple: they created a short list of what they wanted for their venue and guest experience, then chose Hyatt Ziva Cancun based largely on photos and which resort looked like it would deliver the best experience for everyone attending.
Like many couples, their biggest fears included weather (especially hurricanes), seaweed concerns, and making sure their guests felt comfortable and supported while traveling internationally. Their guests were absolutely wowed by the all-inclusive experience, especially how seamless dining and drinks felt, along with the resort’s hospitality, pools, and beach views.
