ROMANCE TRAVEL SPECIALIST
Specialty: Destination weddings, honeymoons, vacations
How did you get into the travel industry?
I always have travel on my mind. I enjoy living from one trip to the next and act as the main organizer for my friends and family for any travel needs. In my previous career, I was both an Event Manager and Regional Sales Manager for companies including PepsiCo and Red Bull. For both roles I was in charge of planning and organizing work trips, trade shows and coordinating all the logistics. I pride myself in my excellent customer service and always strive to provide Gold Standard Customer Service to go above and beyond for my customers.
My decision to transition to travel consulting was to combine my passion for travel with my strengths to plan, organize and take care of all details for customers. I am also excited to have fun with work travel again- although this time around I am trading in trips to Detroit and Cleveland for trips to Mexico and the Caribbean!
What type of travel do you most love to plan?
I have successfully planned several group trips accommodating a wide range of ages with a variety of interests. I love planning group travel; finding solutions to fit each individual need. The details are very important to me and I absolutely love researching it all!
What are your favorite tropical destinations?
As a Midwesterner, I always gravitate to beautiful and warm tropical destinations. Here is a quick snapshot of some of my favorite places so far:
What is on your travel bucket list?
There is not enough room to list all the places I want to go. Off the top of my head, these come to mind:
What are some of your favorite travel memories?
As a kid- Going to St. Pete Beach Florida to visit my Grandpa every spring break. Being across the street from the ocean, eating one lobster meal with my grandpa each trip, mini golfing with the family, playing shuffle board and swimming at the pool for hours!
As a college student- Studying abroad in London, England. I immersed myself in the culture and was able visit many other countries including Spain, Scotland, France, Switzerland and Italy. It was a summer I will never forget!
As a young professional- Exploring Panama with a group of friends. Touring the country and zip lining, eating a whole fish in a treehouse restaurant, watching ships come in at the Panama Canal and taking a boating excursion to a secluded island.
As a mom- traveling with my extended family to Alaska on a Disney Cruise. Getting to experience the magic through the eyes of our two young children while whale watching and taking in the sites was incredible!
