Choosing The Right Destination

Many couples dream of a destination wedding. The romance of a beach, an exotic location or an enchanting city is definitely enticing! There are certainly a huge variety of destinations to choose from, so how do you know what is best? That's where our expertise comes into play.

Over the years, we have learned that the easiest and most cost-effective destination weddings are those that travel to Mexico and the Caribbean to an all-inclusive resort. The all-inclusive resort experience allows your wedding guests to pay for a complete travel package up front, including flights, rooms, airport transfers, meals, drinks, and taxes. Guests appreciate being able to budget for this, and not worry about extra expenses (like car rentals, Uber, meals, tips, etc) while traveling. The all-inclusive atmosphere allows the wedding couple to host welcome parties, cocktail hours and reception dinners at a fraction of the cost. And because planning is so easy (one wedding coordinator does it all!), couples are able to relax and truly enjoy spending time with their loved ones. Sounds great, right? The only caveat to all of this is that the all-inclusive resorts are only located outside of the United States. Check out this example:

All-Inclusive Resort Wedding
$10,000

FOR THE WEDDING COUPLE:

We will introduce you to your wedding coordinator who works at the resort you've chosen. She will handle all aspects of your wedding day planning. She will help you decide on options that make the most sense for your wedding group. She will arrange all of the individual vendors you need. She does it all, and she is free!

The average cost of an all-inclusive destination wedding is under $10,000.

Non All-Inclusive Resort Wedding
$30,000

FOR THE WEDDING COUPLE:

In addition to renting a venue, you'll need to hire a caterer, florist, musician, baker, photographer, videographer, DJ, decorator and wedding planner. Planning a wedding at a non-all-inclusive resort is like planning a wedding in your local city. Be prepared to pay $100+ per plate for a chicken dinner.

The average cost of a US wedding is now $30,000 according to The Knot.
FOR GUESTS (3 night stay):

Flight, $400
Hotel, $550
$950 total

$150 for a passport, but most people already have one.

The all-inclusive experience allows guests to budget $950 for this trip since they know ahead of time exactly how much everything is going to cost. Meals and drinks are unlimited, so guests can enjoy trying new and local dishes that they normally wouldn't want to spend money on. Two desserts? No problem!  This is what makes the all-inclusive experience such a great value.
FOR GUESTS (3 night stay):

Flight, $400
Hotel, $300
Car Rental, $150
Meals & Drinks, $200
$1050 total

Guests can estimate how much they will spend on meals, drinks, gas, tips, etc, and they will have to be careful about how and what they order. Want lobster? It will cost extra. How about dessert? Cha ching. Everything little item adds up, which is no fun. Guests don't want to feel nickel-and-dimed while on vacation. Be kind, and give them the all-inclusive experience!

 Our best advice.... Go All-Inclusive!
