The DestinationWeddings.com Symposium, hosted by El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels and DestinationWeddings.com, represented the largest group of destination wedding specialists together at any one time with 100 Certified Destination Wedding Specialists present. Awards were given in the Top Weddings Producers Karisma, Top Producers in General, and DestinationWeddings.com Awards categories.
 In 2010, Shelli Nornes, owner of Shelli's Vacation Travel, was officially recognized as part of this elite group of both GI Vacation and Wedding Consultants and was awarded 2 significant industry accolades by Karisma Hotels & Resorts.
