2011 - DestinationWeddings.com Symposium Results

The DestinationWeddings.com Symposium, hosted by El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels and Azul Hotels and DestinationWeddings.com, represented the largest group of destination wedding specialists together at any one time with 100 Certified Destination Wedding Specialists present. Awards were given in the Top Weddings Producers Karisma, Top Producers in General, and DestinationWeddings.com Awards categories.

As a part of the Symposium, 10 DestinationWeddings.com Certified Destination Wedding Specialists took advantage of the beachfront location and the resort’s romantic touches to renew their own vows in a traditional Mayan ceremony on the beach at El Dorado Maroma, A Beachfront Resort, by Karisma.

....Shelli Nornes was a distinguished winner, taking home 11 awards including Top Wedding Producer Karisma (Azul Beach Hotel, Azul Sensatori Hotel, Azul Hotels by Karisma); Top Travel Impressions Sales Agent for Azul Hotels; Top FunJet Vacations Sales Agent (Mexico, Dominican Republic, Karisma, Overall); and DestinationWeddings.com Awards (Million Dollar Sales Club, Rising Stars -- Groups, Best of the Best -- Mexico Sales Agents). ​
